Loading Remote Slope Mower

Part One, first outing in after winter

Now it is time to try loading my Alpine Muncher remote control slope mower into my car. I have bought two folding ramps to make it easy to load my mower. See the quick movie below of my set up.

I had one snag the battery of my Goat 22T was dead. The cold winter months have left my RC mower without the power needed to move or start it.

I have seen a trick to use the manual pull start instead of the electric start. Here is the link to the video of how to manually start your remote slope mower.

Part Two, battery charged

I spent the previous day charging the two batteries, which are used to start the remote controlled Goat 22T and also drive the rubber tracks. As you can see it is a great advantage that the RC mower can be maneuvered without the gas engine on. So I can load the mower into our car without the gas exhaust smelling out the car.

There was plenty of room to get the mower into the car using the folding ramps. I will add a link to the product later. I could then pact the ramps into the car for unloading at the other end.

We are now ready to drive our Goat 22T alpine RC slope mower to our test site in Switzerland to see how it handles on alpine terrain.

Please check out our first test in a challenging alpine meadow terrain with a back drop of the Dents du Midi. You can find the link here.
